Hatch Red Chile Ristras
Some people like the tradition of having Hatch chile ristras hung in a storage area or kitchen and then pull the Hatch red chiles off as needed. In the old days and even now chile ristras are a convenient way to store Hatch red chile, keep it off the ground, and add decoration at the same time. We do carry a variety or Hatch Red Chile Ristras that are treated and not edible for decoration purposes.

Hatch Green Chile from the Soto Farm in Hatch New Mexico is inspired by traditional Hatch Chile strains first developed by horticulturist Fabián Garcia at the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts, now known as the New Mexico State University (NMSU).
Our orginal Hatch green chile strains include Mild (NM-64), Medium (Big Jim), Hot (Sandia), X-Hot (Barker), XX-Hot (Lumbre) XXX-Hot (Lumbre).
